As you can see in my Balance section of this website, recreation is how I can quickly get re-balanced in life. For me, climbing mountains in the great state of Colorado is one of my favorite recreational pursuits. Colorado has 55 peaks that stretch over 14,000 ft. in elevation (aka “14’ers” or “Fourteeners”). Did you know that if Colorado were stretched flat, it would be the largest state in the Union by far – bigger than even Alaska stretched flat? From the picture above, can you guess how many I’ve climbed?

Remember I said my brain cancer and my climbing were related? (did you not read the home page??) I did a fundraiser after I survived my tumor for the American Brain Tumor Association that is documented here.
